Blueprint 001: The $0 Solopreneur Tech Stack (2026)
Most solopreneurs die by a thousand cuts. A $29 subscription here, a $49 hosting fee there. Before you earn your first dollar, you are already $200 in the hole.
I don't play that game. Profitability starts at $0.
Here is the exact technical architecture I use to run SoloForge. It is scalable, automated, and costs almost nothing.
1. The Foundation (Hosting & CMS)
Tool: Blogger (Google infrastructure)
Cost: $0/month
People laugh at Blogger until they see the server bills for WordPress. Blogger gives you Google's own security and speed. It handles 100,000 visitors as easily as it handles 10. No plugins to update. No databases to crash.
2. The Identity (Domain & Email)
Tool: Namecheap / Hostinger + ImprovMX
Cost: $10/year
You need a professional .pro or .com domain. But you do not need to pay $6/month for a Google Workspace inbox. I use a DNS forwarding trick to route all business mail to my personal Gmail for free.
The DNS Configuration
This is the exact MX record setup to bypass paid email hosting:
Type: MX Name: @ Mail Server: mx1.improvmx.com Priority: 10 TTL: 3600
3. The Growth Engine (Newsletter)
Tool: ConvertKit / Beehiiv (Free Tier)
Cost: $0/month
Social media algorithms are rented land. Email is owned land. I use the free tier of ConvertKit to capture leads directly from the homepage. If you aren't building a list, you aren't building a business.
The Operator's Verdict
You don't need venture capital to start. You need a stack that respects your margins.
Total Monthly Cost: $0.
Total Speed: 100/100.
Execute.
